Morisons Baby Dreams

How We Helped Morisons Baby Dreams Grow

From a trusted feeding bottle brand to a complete baby-care companion for modern mums.

For years, Morisons Baby Dreams was best known for one thing: feeding bottles and nipples. The products had built strong trust, particularly across South & East India, but the brand was increasingly being perceived as a single-category player.

The opportunity was bigger.

As the needs of new-age parents evolved, the brand needed to evolve with them. That meant building relevance beyond the shelf, creating a stronger consumer relationship and establishing Morisons Baby Dreams as a knowledgeable, trustworthy and contemporary brand that could be part of the entire parenting journey.

The Challenge

Move from being perceived as a feeding specialist to a complete baby-care brand.

  • Build relevance with a new generation of digitally savvy mothers.
  • Create a stronger, more meaningful consumer connection.
  • Establish credibility across newer categories.
  • Stay useful throughout the different stages of early motherhood.
  • Build awareness beyond its traditional stronghold markets.

The Opportunity

A new kind of mother was emerging and she wasn't simply looking for products.

She was researching, comparing, asking questions, seeking expert advice, sharing experiences and making informed choices for her baby.

So instead of speaking to her only when she was ready to buy, we created reasons for her to engage with the brand throughout her parenting journey.

That became the foundation for building the brand beyond its products.

The Strategy

Make Morisons Baby Dreams the brand that mums could turn to.

Our Smart Mums platform challenged the traditional image of motherhood and positioned the mother as someone who could care for her child while retaining her own aspirations and individuality.

01. Build the Community

We created useful, informative and relatable content around pregnancy, breastfeeding, nutrition, baby care, mental health, oral hygiene and parenting with an objective to make social media a source of information along with the products.

02. Build Credibility

One of the biggest shifts was making expertise an integral part of the brand and creating content that answered the questions mothers were asking.

Over the years, the brand built an extensive expert ecosystem, with recurring collaborations with renowned
Paediatricians | Gynaecologists | Lactation consultants | Nutritionists | Psychologists | Dentists | Prenatal Yoga Coaches

03. Build the Portfolio

As the brand entered newer categories, communication had to evolve with it. From toothpaste and personal care to diapers, breast pumps and wipes, we created launch campaigns that gave each product a clear role while continuing to build the larger brand.

The Work
A modern, multitasking mother at home

The Choice of Smart Mums

We introduced the idea of the modern, multitasking mother, a woman who could be both a mother and herself. And Morisons Baby Dreams as a holistic baby care brand she chose time and time again.

Father holding baby, health and hygiene campaign

#ForYourLittleAngels

A Health & Hygiene campaign encouraging parents to make safer, baby-specific choices when it comes to wipes, detergents & cleaners.

Mother with baby and breastfeeding accessories

#BreastMilkMatters

A campaign that focused on the importance of breast milk and how even other members of the family can ensure that the baby is fed his/her mother's milk with the help of nursing products like breast pumps & storage bags.

Mother and child in pyjamas at bedtime

Baby's First Toothpaste

Introducing our sugar-free, fluoride-free and sulphate free Baby Toothpaste in a strawberry flavour for little ones, encouraging healthy oral habits early on.

Our recurring association with paediatric dentist Dr. Ipshita Suyash also helped the brand build a stronger authority in baby oral care over multiple years.

Mother and baby with natural ingredients

Maa Ka Haath, Prakriti Ke Saath

We launched a Baby Care range through a more emotional proposition around natural ingredients, giving the new portfolio a distinct identity.

Psychologist speaking about mothers' mental wellbeing

Mindful Mums

We moved beyond physical baby care to address something equally important: the mental wellbeing of mothers. The campaign featured psychologist Dr. Aditi Govitrikar and extended the conversation around motherhood beyond the baby.

Nibhaye Chain Ki Neend Ka Vaada

For the diaper range, we built communication around one of every parent's biggest desires: a good night's sleep for baby, and therefore, for mum & dad too. The campaign later evolved with Koel Mallick.

Refreshed packaging across the product range

How Communication Evolved Alongside the Business.

Packaging was refreshed across multiple categories, giving the growing portfolio a more cohesive and baby-friendly visual language.

Product launches expanded from feeding into: Baby Care Diapers | Oral Care | Breastfeeding | Wipes | Cleaners | Detergents

The Digital Shift

Initially, we built the brand's own digital ecosystem through its website, social media and Smart Mums blog, which continues to thrive but…

As Indian baby-care e-commerce matured, consumer behaviour shifted towards marketplaces and we also began focusing on platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart and FirstCry, meeting consumers where they were already shopping.

The media approach evolved as well

From:

  • Broad targeting
  • Separate platform strategies
  • Community-building through paid media

To:

  • Region-specific targeting
  • Unified Meta placements
  • Reach-led campaigns
  • Organic community growth
  • Campaign-focused paid media

That meant the brand was becoming more efficient at being visible where it mattered.

Over the course of our partnership, the brand's consumer presence grew dramatically.

And counting…

The brand also built a sustained content ecosystem across social and digital platforms.

And importantly, this wasn't growth through one campaign. It was built over years of consistent conversations, useful content, expert credibility and category expansion.
