At IBD, a lot of emphasis is placed on strategic planning, the science which forms the basis for the art of creative ideas and execution. The reason being the belief that creative processes cannot be mindless, as the creative product is meant to perform a task.

However, at IBD, the planning process is an integral part of creative development and care is taken to ensure that the creative process is not canalized by laying down rigid framework. IBD has at its disposal a complete suite of planning tools by virtue of being a Hakuhodo company, including some which are proprietary and some that are path-breaking concepts and developments by Hakuhodo.

While most of these planning tools and techniques deal with understanding the brand, the consumer, the competition and the touch points better, some enable IBD to conceive the ‘big idea’ and plan a 360 degree execution of the ‘big idea’.
